Watanabe;  CMNH-ZC 2856, 1 female, CL 4.3 mm, 26°13.038'N, 127°53.567'E, off Umino Fishing Port, Nakagusuku Bay, Okinawa Island, Ryukyu Islands, gill net,  7 June 2018, coll.  R. Yoshidaand Chouei Terukina.   Distribution. Typelocality: Numazu, Suruga Bay, Honshu, Japan(see above). Additionally known from Vietnamand Indonesia( Bruce & Okuno 2006).  Common name.Gouzanze-kakure-ebi (standard Japanese name).   Remarks.  Ngankeecaris dardanicola  comb. nov.represents the unique dwelling in association with sea anemones attached on gastropod shells occupied by hermit crabs of the genus  DardanusPaul'son, 1875 ( Bruce & Okuno 2006). The specimen from Okinawa( Fig. 2) was picked up on board the Teruyuki-maru, a commercial gillnet fishing vessel.
