However,  Hechinoschemacan be distinguished from  Paroriaethusby the wider prothorax, wider elytral base, dorsum not strongly raised and hind wings developed.  Range. Bangladesh, India.  Remarks. Thomson (1864)used  Echinoschemato refer to  Hechinoschema, probably as a spelling mistake.  Echinoschemais not an available name, but incorrect subsequent spelling of  Hechinoschemabased on Art. 33.3 of ICZN ( ICZN 1999).
