Sucre, 18km SE of Cumanaon the road to Cumanocoa, 22 Dec 1976, Simpson 8504(BM; iso-NY, TEX, US).   Note:This is the generitypeof  KrameriaLoefl.( Iter Hisp.: 195. 1758). Although some authors (e.g. Simpson in Fl. Neotropica49: 81. 1989) have regarded the binomial as dating from 1758, it seems clear that "Ixine Loefl." is there intended as a generic synonym of  Krameria, rather than as a specific epithet to be combined with it.
