<spm:hasContent> Remarks. This species was described based on three specimens. The genital pore is medial and the excretory vesicle extends to the intestinal bifurcation. The combination proposed by Durio & Manter (1968)has been recognised by subsequent authors ( Dyer et al. 1985; Bray & Cribb 1989) and supported with molecular analyses ( Andres et al. 2014). In their review of the parasite fauna of Lutjanus griseus, Argáez-García et al. (2010)cite reports of C. lintoniin that fish by Siddiqi & Cable (1960)and Dyer et al. (1985). This appears to be a mistake, as neither study lists that fish as a host.</spm:hasContent>
