Material examined. Material examined. East Kazakhstan Region: 20 km NW of Tauke [ Tauқe] ( 47°57'N, 83°16'E), 407 m a.s.l., 6 V 2017 (VI 2017 ex cult.) 4♂♂, 2♀♀, from Betulasp., leg. JH.
Remarks. Although the species originally occurred exclusively in Northern Asia from Altai to Japan ( Cherepanov 1990b, Danilevsky 2018a), it was recently accidentally introduced into North America (e.g. LaBonte et al. 2005), where it is considered an invasive species. It was widely discussed in a previous paper concerning the longhorn beetles of Mongolia ( Karpinskiet al. 2018). Several specimens were reared from birch wood Betulasp. collected in the hilly grove (Fig. 12D).
