<spm:hasContent>  Remarks: The name of  Emys dhorwas corrected by Gray (1831a)in the Errataof his Synopsis Reptilium (Cataphracta)to  Emys dentataand this was accepted by most later authors, so that  Emys dhorshould be regarded as nomen oblitum. Fritz et al.(1997) designated BMNH 1946.1.22.62 as lectotypeof  Emys dentata. From Gray (1831a: p. 20) it may be concluded that several specimens from Bell’s collection served for the description of this species. Consequently, we regard the three specimensstill present in the original Bell Collection as paralectotypes. Further paralectotypesare in the Natural History Museum, London, and in the Nationaal Natuurhistorisch Museum Naturalis in Leiden (formerly Rijksmuseum van Natuurlijke Historie; see also Hoogmoed et al.2010).</spm:hasContent>
