Mus.  Praha[ NMPC].   Remarks.  Neoascia annexacan be distinguished from other  Neoasciaspecies by the following combination of characters: metapleuron closed, with a complete bridge behind hind coxae; protarsomeres 4–5 yellow; wing without transverse brownish stripe along veins M1 and dm–cu; abdominal tergite 2 with a pair of yellowish-orange maculae mediolaterally; tergite 3 with a wide transverse yellowish-orange stripe that evenly reaches the lateral margin; tergite 4 without yellow maculae laterally; abdominal sternite 8 (pregenital segment) in male with blackish pile; hypandrium wide in lateral view (narrow in  N. inexpectata Hauser, 1998); surstylus without distinct extension anteriorly. Although the yellow pattern on tergite 2 differs from that represented in Barkemeyer & Claussen (1986: figure 6), the male genitalia components match exactly those illustrated in Barkemeyer & Claussen (1986: figure 8)and in Claussen & Hayat (1997: figure 7). This species was collected on the southern slopes of central regions of ElburzMountains.
