= Bucekia Boučeki[SIC] NIkOL'SkAYA 1960: 230. syn. nov.ORIgINAL DESCRIpTION ♀. TURkmENISTAN.
Material examined. Type material. Bucekia differens. Holotype ♀ (in NMP). Bucekia bouceki. Paratype ♀ [see Fig. 2for the labelling] (in ZIN). Other material. IRAN: Fars, Larestan, Nime, loc. 6, 12.i.2112, (in JIAU).
Distribution. The species seems to be widely distributed. It was described from Israel(Bouček 1952) and further quoted from Senegal(Bouček 1956) and India(Narendran 1989). GD recently examined specimens from Senegal, Moroccoand the UAE(Delvare 2017). The Afrotropical specimens are somewhat different from those collected in the Palaearctic region, but the range of morphological variation still needs to be evaluated. This parasitoid represents a new genus and species to the Iranian fauna.
Hosts. Bucekia differenswas recorded as a parasitoid of unspecified Phycitinae ( Lepidoptera, Pyralidae) (Bouček 1956).
