Forewing length is 11–11.5 mm(wingspan 22–23 mm) in males.  Miltochrista dentinebuladiffers clearly from other relatives by its conspicuous broad brownish grey shade between the postmedial and antemedial lines of the forewing. The male genital capsule of  M. dentinebulais very similar to that of  M. obliquilinea, but the distal saccular process of  M. dentinebulais less curved. The aedeagus of  M. dentinebulais significantly larger than that of  M. obliquilineain comparison to the genital capsule size. The vesica structures of the two species are very similar, but in  M. dentinebulathe dorsal diverticulum is larger, the medial section is more heavily granulated, and the bunch of cornuti contains five cornuti, whereas in  M. obliquilineathe vesica bears three to four cornuti only.
