Distribution. MALAYSIA: Pahang, Sarawak; SINGAPORE.
Remarks. The lectotypesof A. trito( ♂) and A. albopunctatus( ♀) beside sexual differences (more robust body in female), differ only in the extent of tomentose elytral spots. While A. albopunctatushas distinct apical pair and vaguely also medial one, A. tritohas spotless elytra. The poor state of the type of A. tritosuggests that tomentose spots are likely smeared secondarily which is common in improperly killed or kept specimens. Both taxa were described in the same publication but the name priority was given to the name tritodue to the male type and page precedence.
