Scutum and scutellum black, reddish yellow spines almost equal in length, only stigma dark brown on hyaline wing, legs yellow, only fore tarsi and 2–3 apical tarsomeres of mid and hind tarsi darkened, abdomen black.   Description. Male( Figs 37, 47–50, 70–72). Length: body 4.4–5.1 mm, wing 3.7–4.2 mm. Head indistictly higher than long in profile and 1.4 times broader than long in dorsal view. Ocellar triangle at posterior margin of head. Upper frons very narrow, hardly as long as anterior ocellus. Lower frons subtriangular, shining black, without any pale tomentose spots. Antenna with reddish yellow basal segments and basal flagellomeres, apical style contrastingly black. Scape long and slender, almost twice as long as pedicel, thickened basal flagellomeres also as long as pedicel. Last flagellomere of cylindrical and densely haired type, lateral tomentose stripes along eye margins very narrow, barely as broad as half width of scape ( Fig. 37). Concave face below antennae black, covered with black erect hairs. Proboscis and palpus black, yellowish basally. Longer erect hairs on postgena mixed black and white. Swollen postocular area in lower half of head prominent. Thorax predominantly shining black including subscutellum and mediotergite, only dorsum of postalar callus and a very narrow subnotopleural line yellowish ( Figs 70–71), scutellum reddish yellow, scutellar spines yellow, arising rather close to apex, outer spines only slightly shorter than inner ones. Thoracic pile short, semi-appressed and yellow. Wing membrane hyaline, only stigma dark brown and also strong veins in basal 2/3 of wing brownish. Halter pale yellow. Legs yellow including coxae but fore tibia more brownish, fore tarsi completely, and last two tarsomeres of mid legs and 3 distal tarsomeres of hind legs blackish. Abdomen shining black, relatively broad, gradually broadened toward distal third and rounded posteriorly, maximum width three times broader than basal width. Abdominal pile appressed to semi-erect, mostly black, partly whitish basally. Maleterminalia yellow ( Figs 47–50). Proctiger pentagonal, cerci short and epandrium fairly narrow ( Fig. 47), genital capsule with broad transverse prominence proximally, low subtriangular posteromedial process and gonocoxite with large and rounded inner posterior lobe ( Fig. 48). Gonostylus without distinct inner spine, slightly widened subapically in posterolateral view ( Fig. 49). Aedeagal complex short, aedeagal apodeme rod like, with only slightly dilated proximal end ( Fig. 50). Female. Length: body 4.6–4.7 mm, wing 3.7–4.0 mm. Head spherical in lateral view and about 1.4 times broader than long in dorsal view, postocular area at most as broad as pedicel is long, frons shining black, without pale tomentose spots above antennae, at narrowest point as broad as ocellar triangle. Antenna as in male but last flagellomere shorter, only slightly longer than rest of antenna. Facial stripes along eye margin very narrow, sometimes even indistinct. Thorax black as in male but subnotopleural stripe usually slightly broader and also postalar callus partly yellowish. Scutal pile shorter than in male, scutellar spines more separated. Wing and legs as in male, abdomen more elongate with maximum width at middle, 2.5 times as broad as at base. Abdominal pubescence whitish ventrally. Female terminalia yellow.   Etymology.The specific name indicates that only the stigma is markedly dark on the hyaline wing.   Variation.All examined specimens originate from one population and the variation noted is thus only limited.
