(2020). Male genitalia ( Fig. 12A–B) of specimens studied herein do not differ from those in Liu et al. (2020). Ootheca ( Fig. 14A–D) barrel-like or rectangular, varied in shape: its ventral surface could either away from the substrate and exposed or overlap the substrate. Similar to that of  H. longabut generally smaller. Each egg chamber with distinct edges, forming longitudinal ridges (lateral suture) on the external wall. Chamber openings pentagonal, with dentate edges laterally. The operculum on the emergence area are highly reduced. External wall dark coloured, very hard.
