Lawson;   April 1916,  K. Venkoba Row 3581;  Mankulam,  March 1911,  K. Venkoba Row 4081’, but no specific herbarium sheet was designated as holotype. Except  K. Venkoba Row 4081gathering, four specimensbelonging to the gatherings of  M. A. Lawsonand  K. Venkoba Row 3581were traced, two at K(K-000793258 and K-000793259) and two at MH. Of these, the best one, K-000793259, is designated here as the lectotypeas it agrees well with the protologue and also in having drawing of dissected flower by J. S.
