The specimen has a non-protrusive vulva ( Figure 6B). Eggs oval, with bipolar plugs, 72‒75 long by 30 wide. In addition to the records of  T. minuta,  Trichuris didelphisBaberohas been reported in Mexicofrom  D. virginianaand  D. marsupialisin Campeche, Colima, Hidalgo, Morelos, Yucatán( Acosta-Virgen et al.2015; García-Valle et al.2023), and Veracruz( Cañeda Guzman 1997). Unidentified species of  Trichurishas also been reported from  D. virginianain Guerrero( Monet-Mendoza et al.2005). New specimens, mainly males, should be collected to identify this taxon to the species level.
