Marshall, deposited in AMNH, not reexamined).   Diagnosis:The males resemble other  Philiscaspeciesin having a bifid median apophysis, but are easily distinguished by having a bifid paramedian apophysis ( Ramírez 2003: fig. 103b, c). The females resemble  P. tripunctataby the narrow epigynal median field ( Fig. 17b, c), but are distinguished by having numerous spines on the tibiae I and II.   Description:Male and female are described in Ramírez (2003).   Distribution:Known only from a few localities in Chile: Cautín, Malleco, and Valdivia provinces.
