Locality: “Baie Orange, Punta-Arenas.”
Remarks: Forcelli (2000: 121) reported that this species has not been cited from the PMM. It was listed by Fahey & Valdés (2005: 237) who noted that: “This species was only perfunctorily described by Rochebrune and Mabille (Rochebrune and Mabille 1891 [sic]).” They provided a literature reference to a tentative synonymy but ended their comments with: “However, the type specimen of A. vatheleti cannot be located and thus no further revision is possible.”
