Holotype: male; type locality: Xixiangchi , Emeishan, Sichuan, China ; location of type specimen: Shanghai

Supplementary description. Male: Fastigium verticis conical, narrower than antennal scape, blunt apically, connected with frontal verticis. Apical segment of maxillary palpi equal to subapical one, apex swelled, truncate.

Anterior margin of pronotum straight, posterior margin obtusely rounded; lateral lobe longer than high, posterior margin straight, humeral sinus absent ( Fig. 2A–B View FIGURE 2 ).

Tegmina short, nearly surpassing posterior margin of 1 st abdominal tergite, apices obtusely rounded, Cu2 vein of left tegmen robust, straight; hind wings absent.

Femora unarmed on ventral surface, genicular lobes with apices obtuse. Fore coxae with 1 short spine, fore tibiae with 5 spines on both margins of ventral surface, tympanal organ open on both sides, ovoid. Middle tibiae with 4 inner and 6 outer spines on ventral surface. Hind tibiae unarmed on ventral surface, with 13–17 spines on both margins of dorsal surface, 1 pair of dorsal apical spurs and 2 pairs of ventral apical spurs.

Lateral margins of 9th abdominal tergite protruding backwards, apices obtusely rounded, moderately bent inwards ( Fig. 2C–E View FIGURE 2 ). Anterior and posterior margins of 10th abdominal tergite shallowly concave, dorsal surface of 10th abdominal tergite with a broad and shallow furrow in the midline ( Fig. 2F View FIGURE 2 ). Cercus complex, 2/3 basal area cylindrical, inner margin of 1/3 apical area longitudinally concave, slightly lamellate, 1/3 apical area broadened downwards, interioanterior corner hook-like, directed inner-dorsally ( Fig. 2C–E View FIGURE 2 ). Genitalia sclerotized and exposed, apical area expanded, sole-shaped, edges carina-shaped, dorsal margin obtusely rounded, ventral surface with a small notch in the middle ( Fig. 2D View FIGURE 2 ). Subgential plate nearly rectangular, basal area with a deep triangular notch, apical area narrow, apical half moderately curved upwards, posterior margin straight; styli short, inserted on apico-lateral margins of subgenital plate ( Fig. 2C, G View FIGURE 2 ).

Coloration. Body yellowish brown, probably light green when alive. Eyes light brown, dorsal area of head brown. Pronotum with brown patches. Apical area of third tarsi and claws of legs brown. Spines of hind tibiae with apices brown.

Material examined. Holotype: male, Xixiangchi , Emeishan, Sichuan, 2140m, 8 August, 2006, coll. Shun Zhou (preserved in SEMCAS). Other specimen: 1 male, Leidongping, Emeishan, Sichuan, China, 21 August, 2017, coll. Tao Wang .

Measurements (mm). Body: ♂ 8.86; pronotum: ♂ 2.80; tegmina: ♂ 1.41; hind femora: ♂ 6.71.
