Ts’ang Wai Tak 16427 (UC) was the only gathering cited in the protologue of Aglaia tsangii Merr. (Merrill, 1928a). However, the collection number on the label of the holotype specimen is 928, while the herbarium number is Lingnan University Herbarium 16427. Thus, the collection number cited in the protologue is to be corrected.
