Length of body 4.6 mm, of fore wing 3.7 mm and of antenna 6.0 mm.
Antennae with at least 46 flagellomeres. Terminal flagellomere acuminate. Median flagellomeres oblique, approximately 1.2 x longer laterally than wide. Frons with strong pattern of parallel ridges curving towards midline behind antennal sockets, but more confused than in A. angulodeum sp. nov. Occipital carina complete, dorsally rounded, ventrally slightly reduced but joining hypostomal carina. Occipital carina complete. Mesopleuron shiny, densely punctate, dorsally with strong longitudinally striate sculpture, precoxal sulcus deep, finely vertically striate, episternal scrobe large and deep, specular area not differentiated, punctate. Midlongitudinal carina of propodeum present on anerior 0.4 of propodeum only. Fore wing vein 2-CU1 1.35 x 1-CU1. Apex of fore wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Fore wing vein 3-SR 2.3 x vein r. Fore wing vein SR1 2.15 x vein 3-SR. Hind wing vein M+CU 1.2 x 1-M. Hind wing subbasal largely glabrous. Hind wing vein m-cu absent. Apex of hind tibia without comb of modified adpressed setae. Claws without conspicuous pecten. Basal lobes of 1 st tergite strongly produced, convex anteriorly, steeply concave posteriorly. Midlongitudinal carina of 3 rd tergite absent.
Remaining part of antenna brown basally gradually becoming black, flagellomeres 30–37 (♀) white.
Etymology. In reference to its close relationship to A. cheni sp. nov.
Notes. Exceedingly similar morphologically to A. cheni sp. nov. but differing at 22 bases, and in sculpture of frons.
