Type material. Paratypes (1 ♂, 14 ♀): Brazil (São Paulo): all with similar locality and identifications labels ( Fig. 64 View FIGURES 61 – 67 ): "Barueri, Sao Paulo / Brasij [sic!], lg. K. Lenko" with "No 25" on reverse side [white, printed; reverse handwritten in blue ink]; " Alloraphes / lenkoi m. / PARATYPUS " [yellow, handwritten and printed]; one female with additional red and handwritten " Typus " label ( Fig. 64 View FIGURES 61 – 67 ) (NHMW).

Revised diagnosis. Male: frons with shallow but distinct transverse impression between eyes, margins of impression moderately distinct; pronotum with nearly evenly arcuate ante-basal transverse groove without median pit; elytra unmodified; aedeagus in ventral view with distinctly asymmetrical apex of median lobe and short apical projections; parameres with strongly broadened sub-apical region and abruptly narrowing apical region curved dorsally and bearing two rudimentary setae. Female: antennomere XI distinctly longer than wide; antennomeres III–X as long as broad or transverse; frons between antennal insertions with flat subtriangular area sharply delimited from bulging vertex.

Redescription. Body of male ( Fig. 4 View FIGURES 1 – 12 ) moderately strongly convex, brown, covered with light brown vestiture; BL 0.99 mm.

Head broadest at large, strongly convex and moderately coarsely faceted eyes, HL 0.19 mm, HW 0.20 mm; tempora rudimentary; vertex weakly convex; posterior part of frons with distinct transverse impression between eyes, margins of impression moderately sharply marked; supra-antennal tubercles feebly marked. Punctures on frons and vertex inconspicuous, fine; setae short, sparse and suberect. Antennae moderately slender, short, AnL 0.38 mm; antennomeres I–II each about twice as long as broad; III about as long as broad; IV–V each slightly longer than broad; VI about as long as broad; VII–IX slightly transverse; X distinctly transverse; XI about 1.6x as long as broad and about 1.5x as long as X.

Pronotum about as long as broad, broadest in anterior third; PL 0.25mm, PW 0.24 mm. Anterior margin and lateral margins in anterior third strongly rounded; sides distinctly but slightly narrowing caudad, posterior constriction absent; posterior margin slightly arcuate; ante-basal transverse groove distinct and nearly evenly arcuate, without median pit and with large but shallow lateral impressions. Punctures on pronotal disc inconspicuous, fine and sparse; setae moderately dense, short and nearly recumbent, sides of pronotum with moderately long and disordered bristles.

Elytra more convex than pronotum, oval, broadest near anterior third; EL 0.55 mm, EW 0.45 mm, EI 1.22; sub-humeral lines indistinct and only as long as about 1/5 EL; elytral apices unmodified. Punctures on elytra indistinct, small, shallow and diffused; setae moderately long, sparse and suberect. Hind wings well developed.

Legs long and slender; all tibiae straight.

Aedeagus ( Figs. 33–34 View FIGURES 27 – 43 , 50–51 View FIGURES 44 – 60 ) slender and moderately darkly sclerotized; AeL 0.28 mm; in ventral view apical part of median lobe distinctly asymmetrical and with shallowly and broadly emarginated apical margin with additional tiny oblique median notch; apical projections short; parameres in lateral view strongly but gradually broadening up to subapical region with abruptly narrowing apices curved dorsally; each bearing two thin and barely discernible setae.

Female ( Fig. 5 View FIGURES 1 – 12 ). Similar to male but with frons flat and distinctly demarcated from convex vertex. BL 0.89– 1.00 mm (mean 0.96 mm); HL 0.16–0.18 mm (mean 0.17 mm), HW 0.18–0.20 mm (mean 0.19 mm), AnL 0.33– 0.35 mm (mean 0.35 mm); PL 0.23–0.25 mm (mean 0.24 mm), PW 0.21–0.25 mm (mean 0.24 mm); EL 0.50–0.58 mm (mean 0.55 mm), EW 0.35–0.45 mm (mean 0.41 mm), EI 1.29–1.43 (mean 1.36).

Spermatheca ( Figs. 35 View FIGURES 27 – 43 , 52 View FIGURES 44 – 60 ). Globular, diameter 0.05 mm, thin-walled, with long ductus spermathecae; accessory gland not found.

Distribution. Southern Brazil ( Fig. 68 View FIGURE 68 d).

Remarks. The holotype of this species is preserved at the Instituto Biologico São Paulo, Brazil, and my efforts to borrow this specimen have failed. The number of paratypes was not specified by Franz (1980a); all paratypes found in the Franz Collection (NHMW) were studied for the present study (15 exx.; there are also three destroyed specimens in this collection). Franz (1980a) gives further collecting data: in nests of Camponotus rufipes .
