Type locality and specimens. South India, Krusadi Island, Gulf of Mannar. Holotype, anamorph male, IM C 2955 / 2.
Material examined. No material available for examination. Diagnosis based on descriptions by Sasidharan (1983) and Thomas (1997).
Diagnosis. Gnathopod 1 articles 5 and 6 with apical setae. Gnathopod 2 with a bifid carpus. Coxa 4 distally emarginate.
Leucomorph (juvenile/sexually dimorphic characters). Unknown.
Habitat. No specific habitat or depth reported; littoral.
Host. Sponge.
Distribution. Indian Ocean: Krusadi Island, Gulf of Manaar, South India ( Sasidharan 1983).
