Angelinia gibbosa Rondani, 1861 View in CoL
ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION: 1861a: 290.
TYPE LOCALITY: “ in agro Parmensi [ Parmese territory ( Italy)]” .
TYPE MATERIAL: 1 ♂, syntype (in poor condition, very dirty, missing antennae, left wing and abdomen) ( MZUF: Box 65): Gen. Angelinia Rnd. / gybba [sic!] mihi, An 26 [illegible words] / 3354 .
CURRENT STATUS: valid species, as Planetella gibbosa View in CoL ( Skuhravá 1986: 282, Dahl et al. 1995: 30, Gagné 2010: 328, Gagné & Jaschhof 2017: 445).
REMARKS: Rondani (1861a: 290) described Angelinia gibbosa without specifying the number, the sex or the length of the specimens, but presumably from more than one specimen because he reported: “ non rarissima [not very rare]”. Gagné & Solinas (1996: 74) reported: “One male specimen (#3354) is present with a label reading “ gybba ” possibly an error for gibbosa ”. We found one syntype in this study.
