Type locality: “ North base of Pico Tamacuari, 1,160– 1,200 m elevation. Sierra Tapirapecó , Amazonas, Venezuela (1°13´N, 64°42´W).” GoogleMaps
Distribution: Region 5. Known at type locality in Venezuela, and an additional locality on the Brazilian side of Tapirapecó ( Caramaschi and Niemeyer 2005a).
