Anteon rugosum Xu & He 1997d: 223; He & Xu 2002: 143.

Description of Female. Fully winged; length 3.4 mm. Head black, except mandible testaceous; antenna black-brown, except segments 1–5 testaceous; mesosoma and metasoma black; legs testaceous, except basal half of metacoxa black-brown and metafemur brown. Antenna clavate; antennal segments in following proportions: 7.2:4:4.5:4:3.8:4:4:4:4:5.3. Head shiny, strongly reticulate rugose; gena slightly reticulate rugose; frontal line complete; POL = 3.5; OL = 2.2; OOL = 3.5; OPL = 2.8; TL = 2.8; greatest breadth of posterior ocelli shorter than OPL (1.7:2.8); occipital carina complete. Pronotum shiny, strongly reticulate rugose, with posterior surface longer than anterior surface (4:2); pronotal tubercle reaching tegula. Scutum shiny, strongly reticulate rugose. Notauli incomplete, reaching approximately 0.35 length of scutum. Scutellum strongly punctate, unsculptured among punctures (scutellum erroneously considered reticulate rugose in original description). Metanotum strongly reticulate rugose. Propodeum with strong transverse keel between dorsal and posterior surface; dorsal surface reticulate rugose; posterior surface with two complete longitudinal keels, lateral areas reticulate rugose and median area with anterior region reticulate rugose and posterior region sculptured by transverse keels. Mesopleuron reticulate rugose. Fore wing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part of stigmal vein much shorter than proximal part (2:7.5). Protarsal segments in following proportions: 7.5:1.2:1.2:1.7:5.2. Enlarged claw ( Plate 42C View PLATE 42 ) with proximal prominence bearing one long bristle. Segment 5 of protarsus ( Plate 42C View PLATE 42 ) with distal part shorter than basal part, with three rows of eight bristles; distal apex with four lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.

Material examined. Type: holotype ♀: CHINA: Zhejiang, Mt. Tianmushan , 16.V.1988, Xiaoming Lou leg. ( ZJUC) .
