Material examined. INDIA: SIKKIM: 1J 1♀, Mangan vill.env., ca. 3500 m, 24.–27.v.2002, M. Trýzna & P. Benda leg. ( ZKDC). WEST BENGAL: 1 J, Darjeeling distr., Bom Busty, 11.v.1987 ( NHMB).

Distribution. India (Sikkim, West Bengal: Darjeeling distr.), Bhutan, Nepal ( FAIRMAIRE 1894; PIC 1913b, as Formicomus bhutanensis ; KREKICH 1919, 1928, both as F. aestimabilis ; KEJVAL 2000; CHANDLER et al. 2008).
