Remarks: This species is widespread in the USA, known from Washington in the west to Pennsylvania and New Jersey in the east and southward to Oklahoma, but has not been recorded in Canada. Its Canadian record is an assumption based on species occurrence in prairie of Minnesota, USA, recorded by Jensen et al. (1973).
General distribution: Nearctic.
