Apanteles sartamus Nixon, 1965: 100 . Type in the U.S. National Museum. Shenefelt, 1972: 623.

Diagnosis. Ovipositor sheath not or hardly longer than hind basitarsus; segment 4 of hind tarsus hardly shorter than 5; metacarp fully 6.0× as long as its distance from apex of marginal cell; hind wing narrower, length of 1-M less obviously shorter than distance between its distal extremity and apex of vannal lobe; wings markedly hyaline; T2 fully 4.0×wider than long medially and acutely angled laterally; inner spur of hind tibia weak, hardly reaching the middle of hind basitarsus. Compared with A. crates : hind tibia more extensively infuscate, only basal quarter showing pale colouring; head slightly transverse; T1 considerably narrower behind.

Distribution. China (Guangdong, Guangxi, Taiwan) new record; Philippines.

Remarks. Characters of the examined specimens agree with the published descriptions, except for setae on the wings brownish.
