Specimen examined:— TENASSERIM. Parish 265 ( K). Reported from Mon State and Tanintharyi Region by Kress et al. (2003: 72; as Dendrobium concinnum Miq. ), but we have not seen material from these areas .
Distribution:— Southern Myanmar, Thailand, Indochina and Malesia as far east as the Moluccas.
Note:— Confused previously with the Malesian Dendrobium atropurpureum (Blume) Miq. (= Oxystophyllum atropurpureum Blume ).
