Type specimens. Holotype: 1 male, Movile Cave , Air Bell 1, Mangalia, Southern Dobrogea, Romania, 22 September 2011, leg. Ş. Sârbu ( ISER coll.) ; Allotype: 1 female, same data as for the holotype ( ISER coll) . Paratypes: 6 adult males, 3 adult females, Movile Cave , Lake Hall, 22 September 2011, leg. Ş. Sârbu ( ISER coll) .
Etymology. “serbansarbui” after Şerban Sârbu who firstly collected the material.
Diagnosis. Archiboreoiulus serbansarbui n. sp. differs from other species of the genus in the shape of the first leg pair with short spines and in the branched part of the posterior gonopods with convex external edge partially covering both the interior hyaline lamella and the distal group of fringes. Vulvae small with low rounded operculum which surrounds two thirds of the spherical bursa, slightly concave on the posterior side. Elongated body, the longest within the species of the genus with more than 60 body rings in adults.
