Material examined. 6244 Regionale stasjoner REG–07; 60.9730°N–2.6305°E; 187 m; 30.05.2013; one specimen.
Diagnosis. Antenna short, barely reaching first chaetiger. Secondary ciliary organs present. Three prebranchial segments. Branchiae numbering up to 27 pairs; those in posterior branchial region tapering gently. Modified notochaetae absent. Neuropodial capillaries not thicker than notopodial ones. Modified neurochaetae with terminal spine and tip of stem fringed by fine hairs.
Distribution. Eastern Atlantic, from Scotland ( Hartley 1981) and Norway ( Rygg 2002) to the Iberian Peninsula ( Aguirrezabalaga & Gil 2008).
