Remarks: The initial stage of this species is planispirally coiled while the later stages are uncoiled. The chambers become elongated and slightly inflated.
Stratigraphic distribution: It is originally described from the Cretaceous of Texas. It is recorded in the Campanian by SLITER (1968). In the study area, it is found in the Late Paleocene sediments.
