Based on:— Austrolejeunea bidentata B.M.Thiers, Bryologist 88: 350, 1985 [1986] ( Thiers 1985), nom. inval. (ICN Art. 35.1; genus not valid). Type:— AUSTRALIA. New South Wales. Clyde Mt, Braidwood-Bateman’s Bay Rd., 9 August 1984, B. Thiers 2938 (AD, holotype; NY, CBG, isotypes). Note:—The reference to the description in Thiers (1985: 350) validates the taxon.
