Material. Indonesia: C Sulawesi, Lore-Lindu N.P., nr. Dongi-Dongi shelter, c 1100 m, 1°15´S 120°20´E, Mal. trap 6, 1 ♂ 6–9.xii.1985, leg. C. van Achterberg (Leiden) GoogleMaps .

Remarks. ♂. Body length 10.5 mm. Body with dense rather long pilosity. Flagellum with 40 flagellomeres; 1 st flagellomere 3.0 × longer than wide. Tyloids on flagellomeres 9–18, long-oval, maximally 0.8 × as long as their flagellomeres. Head dense punctate. OED 1.6 × and OOD 1.5 × ocellar diameter. MI 0.7. Mesoscutum, mesopleuron and metapleuron densely punctate. Hind femur 4.1 × longer than wide. Areolet pentagonal, frontal distance between veins 2rs-m and 3rsm 2.0 × their width. Vein 1cu-a postfurcal by 3.0 × its width. 2 nd tergite as long as wide. Gastrocoelus distinctly impressed. Thyridium 0.6 × as wide as the interval between thyridia.

Colour. Black. Ivory are palps partly, side of clypeus, facial and frontal orbits, collar and upper margin of pronotum, spot of tegula, subtegular ridge, apical 1/3 of scutellum, apical band on 6 th tergite, entire 7 th tergite and paramere. Legs black; apical spot on fore and mid femora, frontal stripes on fore and mid tibiae and basal spot of hind tibia ivory. Wings almost hyaline; pterostigma black.

Distribution. Only known from Sulawesi.
