Xyleborus swezeyi Beeson, 1929: 234 View in CoL .
Hulcr & Cognato (2009) described the genus Beaverium as differing from other Xyleborini by their robust, rounded elytral disc, distinctly flattened and posterolaterally broadened elytral declivity, and the posterolateral declivital costa that ends on the 5th interstriae. Xyleborus swezey i fits this description and is here transferred to Beaverium .
Beeson (1929) described X. swezeyi based on specimens from Fagasa on Tutuila. Schedl (1951a) reported additional specimens from Upolu. This species is endemic to Samoa and American Samoa.
Current survey records: American Samoa: Tutuila Isl.: Aoloau.
