Type: Holotype ♂: “ TYPE ” // “Bekily Madagascar ” // “Seirig. I- 40” // “Museum Paris MNHN ( EH) 4108” // “Bekilya mira n.g. n.sp. A. Villiers det.” [hw Villiers] ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 ).

Type locality: Madagascar : Békily [South Madagascar].

Current status: Valid species.

Remarks: The abdomen of holotype is missing; according to the original description, it’s a male. The name of the collector was incorrectly spelled as “Seirig” instead of “Seyrig” on one of its labels.
