( Figs. 3a–3b View FIGURES 1–4 )

Type Material. Holotype: (1 male) Urbana Ill. iv.14.32// 147// Field Mus. Nat. Hist. Orlando Park Pselaphidae Colln (FMNH). Paratypes: (4 males) same data as holotype// 150 ; same data as holotype// 149 ; same data as holotype// 145 ; same data as holotype// 125 ( FMNH) ; same data as holotype// 158 ( FMNH) .

Etymology. The name is based on the same unpublished manuscript name provided by Orlando Park.

Diagnosis. The combination of the mesotibia with a small flange and the mesotibia not swollen near the midpoint is similar to characters of B. levis Owens and Carlton and B. wingi Owens and Carlton , n. sp. The form of the aedeagus is unique among members of the genus ( Fig. 3a–3b View FIGURES 1–4 ).

Description. MALE holotype. Measurements: HL 0.06 mm, HW 0.15 mm; PL 0.13 mm, PW 0.20 mm; EL 0.25 mm, EW 0.31 mm; A1–6, respectively, 0.04, 0.08, 0.06, 0.07, 0.09, 0.03 mm; An1–11, respectively, 0.02, 0.02, 0.01, 0.01, 0.01, 0.01, 0.01, 0.01, 0.02, 0.02, 0.06 mm; MP1–4, respectively, 0.01, 0.03, 0.01, 0.02 mm; GL 0.39 mm, GW 0.23 mm; ML 2.3 mm.

Integument: head, pronotum, elytra, and abdomen light brown, appendages yellow. Entire surface covered with sparse, semierect pubescence. Pubescence in gular area denser, slightly longer than on rest of body. Thorax: procoxae unmodified, protibiae unmodified, with setae denser towards apex. Mesocoxae contiguous, unmodified, mesotibiae with conspicuous small subapical spine, setae slightly denser towards apex. Metacoxae unmodified, conjunct, not fully separated by short intercoxal process of ventrite I, metatibiae with subapical spine on inner face, setae slightly denser towards apex. Abdomen: typical for genus. Genitalia: aedeagus asymmetrical. Median lobe elongate, distal end curved upwards, bilobed. Left and right lateral processes distally flattened and slightly expanded, forming part of sheath extending down ¾ of aedeagal length. Ventral lobe of aedeagus elongate, as long as median lobe. Ventral strut present, small.

Females. No female specimens were available for comparison

Distribution. This species is only known from the type locality.
