Holotype: EBRG 4653 View Materials .
Type locality: “ Southern slope of Sarisariñama-tepui, Locality VI, Estado Bolívar, Venezuela (4°25’N, 64°7’W) GoogleMaps , elevation 420 m.”
Distribution: Region 5. Eastern Guayana uplands.
Remarks: Must be in the Boana benitezi species group (sensu Faivovich et al. 2005) by implication as it was confused previously with B. benitezi , as it was already observed by Frost (2019). See additional comments under B. benitezi .
