Distribution. Endemic. Galápagos: Baltra, Isabela, Pinta, Rábida, Santa Cruz , Santiago.
Remarks. Opsophytopsis Townsend was previously considered an endemic genus, but is now assigned as a junior synonym of subgenus Acridiophaga ( Pape 1994) .
