Specimens examined:— BAGO. Bago District: 1873, Berkeley s.n. ( K) . TANINTHARYI. Myeik District : type. WITHOUT LOCALITY. Parish 201 (not located), fide Parish (1883: 191; as Bulbophyllum merguense ). Reported from Yangon Region by Kress et al. (2003: 66), but we have not seen any material from this area.
Distribution:— Myanmar and Indonesia (Sumatra).
Bulbophyllum longipes Rchb. f. in Ann. Bot. Syst. (Walpers) 6: 253, 1861. Type :— MYANMAR. Mon State : Mawlamyine District, 1220−1525 m, Lobb s.n. (holotype: K-LINDL)
Homotypic synonyms: Henosis longipes (Rchb.f.) Hook.f., Fl. Brit. India 5: 771, 1890. Monomeria longipes (Rchb.f.) Garay, Hamer & Siegerist, Nord. J. Bot. 14: 641, 1994; (Rchb.f.) Aver., Opred. Orkhid. V’etnama: 285, 1994.
Specimens examined:— SHAN. Taunggyi District : 1550 m, 28 Feb 2014, Saw Lwin SL 40 ( RAF, RAF [s]); same loc., fide Nyan Tun (2014: 55) . MON. Mawlamyine District : type. Also reported from Tanintharyi Region by Kress et al. (2003: 66), but we have not seen any material from this area.
Distribution:— Myanmar and Thailand.
