Bulbophyllum moulmeinense Rchb. f. in Ann. Bot. Syst. (Walpers) 6: 249, 1861. Type :— MYANMAR. Mon State : Mawlamyine District, Griffith s.n. (holotype: K-LINDL)
Specimen examined:— MON. Mawlamyine District : type .
Distribution:— Endemic.
Note:— Garay (pers. comm. to C. Sathish Kumar) found this entity had been wrongly treated as a synonym of Bulbophyllum oblongum (Lindl.) Rchb. f. by Hooker (1890a): B. moulmeinense was questionably listed under Trias picta (C.S.P.Parish & Rchb.f.) C.S.P.Parish ex Hemsl. (p. 781), but he listed its probable type under T. oblonga Lindl. (p. 780). Further study to resolve the status of the name is needed.
