Distribution:— Myanmar and Thailand.

Bulbophyllum nasutum Rchb. View in CoL f., Gard. Chron. 1871: 1482, 1871. Type :— MYANMAR. Tenasserim: Parish 358 (lectotype K, designated by Clayton 2017: 67)

Homotypic synonyms: Phyllorkis nasuta View in CoL (Rchb.f.) Kuntze, Revis. Gen . Pl. 2: 677, 1891. Trias nasuta View in CoL (Rchb.f.) Stapf, Bot. Mag. 152: t. 9150, 1928.

Heterotypic synonym: Trias vitrina Rolfe, Bull. Misc. Inform. Kew 1895: 282, 1895 . Type:— ORIGIN UNKNOWN. ‘Panga’: Curtis s.n. (holotype: K), note below .

Specimens examined:— TENASSERIM. Type. MON. Mawlamyine District: Parish 263 ( W, K). Also reported from Tanintharyi Region by Kress et al. (2003: 66), but we have not seen any material from this area .

Distribution:— Southern Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam.

Note:— The exact location of the type locality, Panga, of the synonymous Trias vitrina is not clear. The protologue indicated that it is in Tenasserim, which may imply that it is in southern Myanmar. There is a town called Panga in Mon State. Alternatively , a handwritten note Siam on the type sheet at Kew suggests that this locality may refer to Panga Province (= Phang-nga Province) in southern Thailand, which is also part of the Tenasserim range .
