Crown brown. Face lower part brown, dorsad of antennal bases light brown with dark brown tinge. Gena and lora dark brown; anteclypeus mainly brownish, apex yellowish brown ( Figs. 1 View FIGURE 1 K, L). Pronotum brown. Mesoscutum and scutellum mainly brownish, lateral margin yellowish brown, basal triangles darker. Forewing hyaline with light brown tinge, broad band along costa except a subapical triangle, dark brown ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 J). Mesepimeron dark brown. Legs and hind leg spinulation light brown.

Male genitalia. Pygofer with greater more than length, dorsal margin with smaller posterior lobe. Appendage of segment X slender, apex curved dorsally, hook-like, in posterior view crossing over each other. Subgenital plate narrow, with a few setae on dorsal margin ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 H). Connective with two arms not obviously broad, central lobe small and triangular. Style with row of sparsely distributed setae, apex pointed. Aedeagal shaft sparsely toothed medially, dorsal margin concave obviously in lateral view; aedeagal shaft broad in middle, compressed basally in ventral view ( Figs. 3 View FIGURE 3 F, G).

Distribution. China (Yunnan), Vietnam.

Remarks. This species is recorded for the first time from China. B. albilateralis Maldonado-Capriles has coloration similar to that of B. thai Maldonado-Capriles , but can be distinguished from the latter by the following characters: (1) pronotum not unicolorous, lateral margin often yellow; (2) aedeagus and gonopore comparatively narrow; (3) aedeagus dorsal margin with large process, rounded, deeply concave.
