Distribution. Central and SE Europe, Caucasus, Levant ( Alonso-Zarazaga 2011a).
Material examined. Odesa Prov.: 1 spec. ( ZIN) Chernovo, Tiligul River , D. Znoiko leg., 9.vi.1921 .
Biology. Xerothermic grasslands. Adults occur in III–IX ( Dieckmann 1977). On Ononis spinosa hircina , O. spinosa spinosa (Fabaceae) ( Smreczyński 1965; Dieckmann 1977).
