Potamometropsis nieseri Zettel, 1994: 84 (synonymized by Polhemus and Zettel 1997).

Material formerly examined. 28 apterous adult specimens from Brunei, Sabah, Sarawak, and Kalimantan, localities listed in Polhemus and Zettel (1997), and deposited in BPBM, NHMW, UMS, ZMAN, and ZRCS.

Additional material examined (all apterous). 9 males, 10 females from Malaysia, Sarawak, Gunung

Mulu National Park, Sungai Tutoh, at riffles, 2.XI.2006, leg. Tran A.D. (# TAD0605) ( ZRCS). 1 female from

Malaysia, Sabah, Kota Marudu, Marak Parak, Kg. Loguhang, Sungai Kinarom , 15.XII.2000, leg. H.H. Tan ,

K.K.P. Lim and R. Goh (# THH00187) ( ZRCS). 6 males, 6 females from Brunei, Belalong Basin , Temburong

( Malaysia); the record from Thailand by Miyamoto (1967) is highly doubtful ( Polhemus and Zettel 1997).
