Description
Female. Body length 1.7 mm, Fore wing length 1.9 mm ( Figure 4 View Figure 4 (a)).
Head. 1.8 × as wide as long, 1.2 × wider than mesoscutum in dorsal view. Eyes 1.7 × longer than temple in dorsal view. Temple smooth, nearly impunctate, except minute setose punctures and shiny, round and not constricted behind eyes in dorsal view ( Figure 4 View Figure 4 (b)). Ocelli small, distance between fore and hind ocellus as long as minor axis of a hind ocellus, POL:OD:OOL = 1.3:1.0:2.4. Frons flat and polished. Vertex between eye and hind ocellus shiny and smooth and pubescent. A distinct shallow dark sulcus present joining the middle of posterior ocelli and occiput. Face ( Figure 4 View Figure 4 (c)) shallowly, evenly punctate, densely setose, indistinctly convex medially, transverse, 1.6 × wider than high. Clypeus 1.7 × wider than medial length, sparsely setose. Length of malar space as long as basal width of mandible. Antenna ( Figure 4 View Figure 4 (d)) indistinctly longer than body, with scape, pedicel and 1 st, 2 nd, penultimate and ultimate flagellomeres 1.8, 2.0, 5.8, 5.0, 2.9 and 3.2 × longer than wide, 1 st nearly 1.3 × longer than 2 nd, flagellomeres following 4 th abruptly shortened as about half length of 4 th flagellomere, 5 th flagellomere without acute tooth ventral-apically.
Mesosoma
Length:width:height = 1.7:1.0:1.2. Mesonotum ( Figure 4 View Figure 4 (e)) shiny with distinct sparse setose punctures anteriorly, becoming shallower towards posterior half and polished along posterior margin, notauli long and crenulated at anterior 1/2, medial course visible. Scutellar sulcus slightly curved, narrow, shallowly concave, and uncrenulated. Scutellum shiny with minute setose punctures, not glabrous medio-posteriorly, hind depressions ( Figure 4 View Figure 4 (g)) large and oblong, interspace 0.2 of minor axis of the depression. Propodeum ( Figure 4 View Figure 4 (g)) shiny, with distinct median carinae reaching beyond costulae, anterior part with short rugae along the median carinae and lateral longitudinal carinae at sides, posterior parts polished, anterior part 2.4 × longer than middle length of metanotum. Mesopleuron ( Figure 4 View Figure 4 (f)) highly polished, impunctate.
Legs. Hind femur ( Figure 4 View Figure 4 (k)) 3.9 × as long as its widest part. Length of hind femur:tibia: basitarsus = 1.7:2.3:1.0. Basitarsus of hind leg 0.7 as long as tarsomeres 2–5.
Wings. Fore wing: pterostigma narrow, 2.2 × as long as its widest part ( Figure 4 View Figure 4 (h)); vein 1-R1 0.7 of pterostigma length; vein r:2-SR:2-M = 1.0:5.9:2.8, 1-SR:1-M = 1.0:3.7, 1-CU1:2- CU1 = 1.0:2.0; first discal cell of fore wing less than 1.2 × wider than high. Hind wing ( Figure 4 View Figure 4 (i)): vein M+ CU:1-M:r-m = 2.1:2.6:1.0.
Metasoma. 1.2 × longer than mesosoma. T1 ( Figure 4 View Figure 4 (l)) smooth, spoon-shaped (attenuated apically), 2.3 × longer than its subapical maximum width, distinctly narrowed anterio-medially. T2 wide, 2.6 × wider than median length. T3 1.8 × longer than T2, longitudinally striate. Hypopygium not reaching apex of metasoma. Ovipositor sheath 0.7 of hind basitarsus, with long and short setae apically ( Figure 4 View Figure 4 (j)).
Colour. Light yellow-brown, except notauli on mesonotum, propodeum and metasoma brown ( Figure 4 View Figure 4 (a)). Palpi and spurs pale yellow. Antenna (except apical segment yellow) and ovipositor sheath brown. Legs pale yellow to yellow, except tips of apical tarsomeres. Wing membranes hyaline, pterostigma, vein r, 2-SR, 1-SR, 1-M and 1-CU1 darker brown, other veins light brown.

Etymology
The specific name ‘ paracarinata ’ refers to its propodeum with lateral longitudinal carinae beside the median carina.
Remarks
This species is similar to C. nyeringensis Ranjith and Priyadarsanan, 2023 , but differs in the following characters: clypeus 1.7 × wider than medial length (2.6 × in C. nyeringensis ); vein 1-R1 longer, 0.7 of pterostigma length (indistinct in C. nyeringensis ); and anterior part of propodeum with short rugae along the median carinae and lateral longitudinal carinae at sides (no carinae beside the median carinae there in C. nyeringensis ).
