Description
Male. Body length 2.2 mm, Fore wing length 2.3 mm ( Figure 7 View Figure 7 (a)).
Head. 1.5 × as wide as long, 1.3 × wider than mesoscutum in dorsal view. Eyes 1.4 × longer than temple in dorsal view. Temple shiny, coarsely and densely punctate, distinctly bulging behind eyes in dorsal view ( Figure 7 View Figure 7 (b)). Ocelli small, distance between fore and hind ocellus slightly shorter than minor axis of a hind ocellus, POL:OD:OOL = 1.0:1.0:2.6. Frons flat and polished. Vertex between eye and hind ocellus shiny and shallowly, coarsely punctate, abruptly raised behind hind ocelli in lateral view. Face ( Figure 7 View Figure 7 (c)) shiny, punctate with intervals between punctures more than the diameter of one puncture, indistinctly convex medially, transverse, 1.2 × wider than high. Clypeus 1.6 × wider than medial length, nearly glabrous. Length of malar space 1.3 × basal width of mandible. Antenna ( Figure 3 View Figure 3 (d)) 1.2 × longer than body, with scape, pedicel and 1 st, 2 nd, penultimate and ultimate flagellomeres 1.6, 1.6, 8.6, 8.2, 4.4 and 3.7 × longer than wide, 1 st as long as 2 nd, flagellomeres following 4 th gradually shortened to apex.
Mesosoma
Length:width:height = 2.3:1.3:1.0. Mesonotum ( Figure 7 View Figure 7 (e)) shiny with dense punctures anteriorly, becoming indistinct to polished at posterior half, notauli less obvious, weakly crenulated closing to anterior 1/2. Scutellar sulcus nearly straight, shallowly concave, not crenulated. Scutellum shiny, indistinctly punctate, sparsely pubescent, hind depressions large and oblong, nearly touching each other. Propodeum ( Figure 7 View Figure 7 (j)) shiny, with distinct median carinae just reaching costulae, anterior part uneven with a few short rugae at sides, posterior parts polished, anterior part 2.9 × longer than middle length of metanotum. Mesopleuron highly polished, impunctate.
Legs. Hind femur ( Figure 7 View Figure 7 (i)) 2.9 × as long as its widest part. Length of hind femur:tibia: basitarsus = 1.5:2.1:1.0. Basitarsus of hind leg 0.9 × as long as tarsomeres 2–5.
Wings. Fore wing ( Figure 7 View Figure 7 (g)): pterostigma, 2.7 × as long as its widest part ( Figure 1 View Figure 1 (b)); vein 1-R1 0.5 of length of pterostigma; vein r:2-SR:2-M = 1.0:4.5:1.4, 1-SR:1-M = 1.0:2.4, 1- CU1:2-CU1 = 1.0:1.3; first discal cell of fore wing 1.4 × wider than high, nearly quadrate. Hind wing ( Figure 7 View Figure 7 (h)): vein M+ CU:1-M:r-m = 2.4:3.0:1.0.
Metasoma. 1.1 × longer than mesosoma. T1 ( Figure 7 View Figure 7 (k)) smooth, indistinctly punctate posteriorly, spatula-shaped, 2.0 × longer than its subapical maximum width, distinctly narrowed anterio-medially. T2 wide, 1.8 × wider than median length. T3 0.7 of T2 middle length, longitudinally striate. Hypopygium not longer than apex of metasoma.
Colour. Light yellow-brown, except terga beyond T3 darker brown ( Figure 7 View Figure 7 (a)). Palpi and spurs pale yellow. Antenna (except scape and pedicel yellowish) brown. Legs pale yellow to slightly yellow-brown at apex. Wing membranes hyaline, slightly fumous, pterostigma slightly white inside, vein r, 2-SR, 1-SR, 1-M and 1-CU1 darker brown, other veins light brown.
