( Figures 29‒32 View FIGURES 29–32 )

Centris labiata Friese, 1904 View in CoL . 91.

Type data: Friese (1904) mentioned that two of the six type specimens were housed at HNHM. Moure et al. (2007) indicated that the type series was housed at AMNH, but it was not found there. The two males housed at HNHM mentioned by Friese were effectively found in that collection and both have the same provenance label: Costa-Rica Schild. [printed]. These specimens are here designated lectotype and paralectotype.

Type locality: Costa Rica: Alajuela department: San Carlos .

Centris schwarzi Cockerell, 1919 View in CoL . 192.

Type data: Holotype female ( NMNH).

Type locality: Guatemala: Alta Verapaz department: Cacao .

Comments: Taxonomic decision for synonymy: Snelling (1984). This species was correctly interpreted by Moure et al. (2007).
