Specimens examined. CHINA (BMNH): 1 apterous vivipara, Hong Kong (Victoria Peak aera), on Saccharum spontaneum View in CoL , 24.x.1990 (Martin JH); 1 apterous vivipara, Taiwan (Nantou County), on Pleioblastus View in CoL sp., 5.vii.1990 (Stern DL); 1 apterous vivipara and 3 nymphs, Taiwan (Nantou County), on Pleioblastus View in CoL sp., 27.v.1994 (Aoki S); 9 apterous viviparae, China, host plant unknown, 1938 (Yang MS).
Distribution. China ( Hongkong, Taiwan).
Biology. Its host plants are Saccharum spontaneum and Pleioblastus sp. ( Poaceae ).
