Orogomphus suzukii Oguma, 1926 , p. 88, “Honshu (Kyoto) ”.
A male specimen bearing the label “Kyoto, Suzuki” was described by Oguma, but apart from an extremely accidental case the occurrence of a Chlorogomphus in Kyoto area is hardly conceivable. Mr. Suzuki who lived in Kyoto was a professional collector of insects, and there were found a number of dragonfly specimens in the Hokkaido University bearing quite the same label “Kyoto, Suzuki” without any definite locality designation.
