Diagnosis. Adult ( Fig. 2, 7, 8 ). The species resembles Trichosea spp., but has yellowish-white ground colour of and different type of wing pattern with black lines and blackish suffusion interrupted by white veins; reniform rounded, connected with costal margin by black band; orbicular black, with K-shaped mark; subterminal and terminal field filled with black rounded spots; subterminal and terminal lines thin. Hindwing with orange-yellow inner margin, similar to Trichosea . Female darker than male, with more developed blackish suffusion on forewing and blackish spots on hindwing forming subterminal line. The male and female genitalia ( Figs. 13 , 18) are as described for the genus.
